Mamuka Khazaradze arrives at Tbilisi City Court to review interrogation protocol

The leader of Lelo – Strong Georgia, Mamuka Khazaradze, arrived at Tbilisi City Court to review the interrogation protocol. After confirming the accuracy of his own testimony, he will proceed to the Tbilisi Prosecutor’s Office, where the procedure for filing charges against him is planned.

A few days ago, Khazaradze testified before a magistrate judge at Tbilisi City Court. He was summoned for questioning due to his absence from the session of the Parliamentary Temporary Investigative Commission studying the activities of the United National Movement government. However, after refusing to attend the commission’s session, he was interrogated in court instead.

For reference, failure to appear before an investigative commission is a criminal offense under the Criminal Code and is punishable by up to one year of imprisonment or a fine.
