Mamuka Khazaradze: No matter the charges, I declare that I do not recognize the so-called Parliament or this Commission engaged in anti-national activities

The charge concerns my failure to attend the so-called commission, which was created by the illegitimate parliament. This commission is a circus show with its leader, who directly discredits our country, – said Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of "Lelo - Strong Georgia."

According to him, Georgia is facing a great abyss in its 34 years of independence.

“I was summoned to the Tbilisi Prosecutor’s Office, where I am supposed to be charged. The charge concerns my failure to attend the so-called commission, which was created by the illegitimate parliament. This commission is a circus show with its leader, who directly discredits our country. It openly insults and demeans our heroes, generals, those who have sacrificed their lives for Georgia's independence and freedom over the past 30-35 years.

No matter the charges they bring against me, I declare that I do not recognize the so-called parliament, nor this commission, which engages in anti-national activities.

The country is facing a great abyss. In the 34 years of independence, we have never faced such a dire situation, where 80% of the remaining territories of the country are formally at risk of occupation.

The fight will continue by all peaceful means!” – Mamuka Khazaradze stated.
