Norwegian Foreign Ministry: Norway is concerned about the Georgian Government's new repressive measures

Norway is concerned about the new repressive measures introduced by the Georgian government, according to a statement released by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Norway is concerned about the Georgian government's new repressive measures, including the foreign agents law and initiatives that allow for the banning of opposition parties.

By undermining freedom of expression, restricting civil space, and dismantling political pluralism, these measures weaken Georgian democracy," the statement reads.
