Paata Salia: I promise the public and the Prime Minister that I will serve with honor as Minister of Justice, for our people and our country

“I promise the public — and I promise you, Mr. Prime Minister — that I will serve with honor as Minister of Justice, for our people and our country. We will face every challenge ahead of us with dignity,” said newly appointed Minister of Justice of Georgia, Paata Salia, at the Ministry of Justice, where he was introduced to the ministry's staff today by the Prime Minister.

Paata Salia thanked the head of government for the trust placed in him.

“It is a great honor for me to be part of the team you lead, to serve under your leadership, to be Minister of Justice and a member of the Government of Georgia. Of course, I understand and fully recognize how great a responsibility it is to serve as the Minister of Justice of Georgia. I promise the public — and I promise you — that I will serve this position with honor, for the benefit of our people and our country. We will face any challenge before us with dignity, and I count on your strong support in this,” said Paata Salia.

The minister also thanked his predecessor, Anri Okhanashvili, and wished him success in his new role.
