Parliamentary Temporary Investigative Commission summons Nika Gvaramia and Zurab Japaridze to tomorrow’s hearing

At tomorrow’s session, the Parliamentary Temporary Investigative Commission, which is examining the "activities of the regime in power from 2003 to 2012, as well as those of its political officials and current/former officials affiliated with political parties from 2003 to the present", plans to hear from the leaders of the "Coalition for Change", Nika Gvaramia and Zurab "Girchi" Japaridze.

According to information released by Parliament, the session will be held on April 8 at 10:00 AM in the Constitution Hall.

The issues to be discussed at the session include: The human rights situation during the years 2003–2012; The role of civil society during the same period; Political processes from 2012 to the present; The case concerning the violation of the right to life of Amiran (Buta) Robakidze; The case of the so-called "Wig Revolution"

Also invited to the hearing are: Ms. Ia Metreveli, and Messrs. Nika Gvaramia, Zurab “Girchi” Japaridze, Gocha Mukbaniani, Nikoloz Janjalashvili, Leri Beritashvili, Levan Terashvili, and Besik Beritashvili, according to the statement.
