According to Gakharia, the message of “Gakharia for Georgia” in Brussels was that Georgia’s place is in the European Union.

“Today in Brussels, I delivered the demands of the Georgian people to our European partners.

Political prisoners must be released. New elections must be held. Georgia’s European path must be restored.

Together with progressive leaders, our message was clear – Georgia belongs in the European Union,” – writes Giorgi Gakharia.
