APM Terminals Poti Managing Director meets Central Asian stakeholders

During a recent business trip to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, Managing Director Christian Roeder and Sales Manager Akhan Akhanov held meetings with key leaders in the logistics industry to discuss the increasing cargo volumes passing through Georgia and the necessity for enhanced connectivity in the region.

Key discussion points included optimizing existing supply chains, developing infrastructure, and fostering deeper collaboration among regional logistics stakeholders to streamline operations and reduce bottlenecks.

"Our primary objective was to explore strategies for enhancing trade flow between Central Asia and global markets, leveraging Georgia's strategic position as a transit hub. During our meetings with Central Asian partners, we emphasized the increasing demand for efficient transport routes and the mutual benefits of improving regional connectivity," states Christian Roeder.
