Television hosts Vasil Ivanov-Chikovani and Nino Zautashvili have been dismissed from the public broadcaster. They spoke about this in a video message shared on social media.

According to Vasil Ivanov-Chikovani, the relevant decision was communicated to him by the General Director of the public broadcaster, Tinatin Berdzenishvili.

"An hour ago, the head of the Human Resources Department called me to inform me that the director of the public broadcaster was waiting for me at the broadcaster's new building. I arrived and was informed of the decision. The internal investigation's deadline is about to expire, and based on the document from the internal investigation, the board of directors met today and decided to dismiss me from my position. This decision was conveyed to me by Tinatin Berdzenishvili. It was a verbal meeting, and the official part of this decision should be given to me by a lawyer," Vasil Ivanov-Chikovani stated.
