Giorgi Vashadze: “Why isn’t Antsukhelidze at home? – This question should be asked to Putin, not to Georgia! Tea Tsulukiani insulted: Georgian hero! This is treason!

“Why isn’t Antsukhelidze at home? – This question should be asked to Putin, not to Georgia! Tea Tsulukiani insulted: Georgian hero! - Giorgi Vashadze, leader of Strategy Builder, stated.

With this, Giorgi Vashadze responded to the statement of Tea Tsulukiani, a member of the Georgian Dream, about the hero of the August War, Giorgi Antsukhelidze.

“Why isn’t Antsukhelidze at home? – This question should be asked to Putin! And not to Georgia! If Antsukhelidze “was sacrificed senselessly”, then: what does heroism mean? What does homeland mean? And who do you serve at all? What do you represent?!

Antsukhelidze is a hero, a symbol – an example of defending one’s own country and dignity! Tea Tsulukiani insulted: Georgian hero, his family, all military, all children of heroes. Our history turns out to be "PR", and the heroes - "senselessly sacrificed"?!

This is not politics - this is national treason! And this simply cannot go on like this! We will not allow anyone to insult Antsukhelidze and heroes like him!", - said Giorgi Vashadze.

The remarks come after Tea Tsulukiani stated on the Georgian Public Broadcaster: "To put it simply, why is Giorgi Antsukhelidze not at home today? I have the right to ask this question along with my comrades. Who should forbid me from asking this question? No one. We are asking this question. Every child needs their parents to be at home and not pointlessly doomed for someone's PR, in this case I mean Saakashvili."
