The parliamentary temporary investigative commission summoned Giorgi Gakharia to the session on April 14

The chairman of the "Gakharia for Georgia" party, Giorgi Gakharia, has been summoned to the investigative commission studying the activities of the "United National Movement."

Gakharia's questioning is scheduled for April 14.

According to the information released by Parliament, Gakharia has been summoned in connection with his activities and decisions made while serving as Georgia's Minister of Internal Affairs and Prime Minister, including those related to the events of June 20, 2019.

"On April 14 at 12:00 PM, a regular session of the Parliamentary Temporary Investigative Commission will be held in the Constitution Hall.

Mr. Giorgi Gakharia has been invited to the session in connection with his activities and decisions made during his tenure as Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs and Prime Minister, including the events of June 20, 2019," the statement reads.
