Mikheil Kavelashvili has begun his first official visit to Azerbaijan. According to official information, a welcoming ceremony was held for Mikheil Kavelashvili at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. He was greeted at the airport by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Yagub Eyyubov.

As part of the visit, Mikheil Kavelashvili will be hosted by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. High-level one-on-one and extended meetings are scheduled with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairman of the Milli Majlis.
