Mikheil Kavelashvili met with Ali Asadov in Baku

As part of an official visit to Baku, Mikheil Kavelashvili met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov.

According to official information, the main topics of discussion were the key directions of the strategic partnership between the two countries and successful cooperation in various areas, including multilateral regional and international formats.

"During the meeting, attention was paid to the further deepening of trade and economic relations and joint regional projects. The importance of the Middle Corridor was emphasized, particularly in terms of increasing freight transportation. The significance of peace and stability in the South Caucasus region was highlighted.

Mikheil Kavelashvili thanked the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan for his unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the information notes.
