The leader of Strategy Aghmashenebeli, Giorgi Vashadze, is being questioned at Tbilisi City Court in the presence of a magistrate judge.

As he stated, he will comment after the questioning.

Vashadze was summoned for questioning by the Prosecutor’s Office, but he requested to be questioned in court in the presence of a magistrate judge instead. The Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation under Article 349, which concerns failure to comply with a lawful request of an investigative commission. The investigation against Vashadze was initiated following an appeal from the Chair of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission, Tea Tsulukiani.

Giorgi Vashadze had refused to appear at the commission's hearing.
