Zurab Tsetskhladze: Today’s rally was organized by political prisoner Zviad Tsetskhladze, and it is dedicated to the oath taken by young people one year ago – it is an important day, and the family members of political prisoners are joining the rally

Political prisoner Zviad Tsetskhladze organized the April 19 rally, which is dedicated to the oath taken by young people one year ago — this was stated by the detained Zviad Tsetskhladze’s father, Zurab Tsetskhladze, to "InterpressNews" near the Parliament, where in one hour a student-organized rally will begin.

“For many years, there has never been such an awakening, such a demonstration of national spirit by young people. These youths marched and took an oath before the nation and the homeland that they would not surrender Georgia to any internal or external enemy, that they would not give up the freedom earned by the blood of heroes. Therefore, this is an important day, and the family members of political prisoners are joining this rally,” Tsetskhladze said.

At 20:00 near Parliament, speeches will begin, followed by a march along the riverside toward Heroes' Square, where the oath-taking ceremony will be held.
