Mikheil Kavelashvili will attend the funeral ceremony of Pope Francis in the Vatican on April 26.

According to the information released by Kavelashvili's press service, he will travel to the Vatican with a delegation.

According to them, the delegation will include the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili, Head of the Administration Ketevan Kvinikadze, the Administrator of the Zugdidi and Tsaishi Diocese, Chairman of the Department for External Relations of the Patriarchate of Georgia, Metropolitan Gerasime, and the Rector of the Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary, Protopresbyter Giorgi Zviadadze.

For information, the Pope died on April 21 at the age of 88. Pope Francis' funeral will take place on Saturday.
