Lasha Abashidze appointed as new Director General of Georgian Railways

Lasha Abashidze has been appointed as the new Director General of Georgian Railways. As BPN reports, the relevant change has already been reflected in the public registry.

As stated in the decision of the Supervisory Board of the Railways dated May 7, Davit Peradze was dismissed from the position of Director General of the Railways and Lasha Abashidze was elected as the new Director.

Lasha Abashidze was Davit Narmania's deputy during his mayoralty. He also headed the presidential administration during Giorgi Margvelashvili's presidency.
