We are monitoring the processes - we support the US President and we hope that the “deep state” will be defeated - if the “deep state” is defeated, this will also be reflected in relations with Georgia and relations will be completely restored! - Secretary General of the Georgian Dream party, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze responded to the question regarding the adoption of the draft law MEGOBARI Act by the US House of Representatives.

Kaladze stated in the same context that when it comes to the country and the interests of the country, Georgian Dream will stand where the future of the homeland and the country needs it.

“We will not compromise the country’s interests with sanctions or threats. We are monitoring the processes. When Donald Trump became the US president, he named defeating the “deep state” as his first priority. Today, the “deep state” is not defeated. Also, Trump’s priority was to end the war. The war is not over either.

We are monitoring, we support President Trump and we hope that the war will end soon and the “deep state” will be defeated. If the “deep state” is defeated, this will be reflected in Georgia and relations will be completely restored,” Kakha Kaladze told journalists.

As Kaladze noted, “There are many challenges! The fight against the country continues.”

According to him, the Georgian Dream party will do everything to strengthen the country’s independence and sovereignty. As Kaladze noted, they will protect peace despite attacks and blackmail.

"We have seen specific scenarios within the country. First, journalists and non-governmental organizations were organizing the revolution, then - political parties, then members of society and so on. Do not think that these are scenarios planned here - in Georgia. All this is being organized from the outside. They have their patrons. There are specific people and organizations who are planning this type of actions - coup attempts in different countries, including Georgia. Specific ambassadors, their statements, funding from specific countries - these are the processes that we are seeing in Georgia this time," Kakha Kaladze told journalists.
