US Embassy says it​​ has learned of bomb threats directed at three Tbilisi malls

According to the US Embassy, it​​ has learned of bomb threats directed at three Tbilisi malls.

“Please be aware that the U.S. Embassy has learned of bomb threats directed at three Tbilisi malls:

1) East Point Shopping Mall – 2 Aleksandre Tvalcherilidze St 2) Galleria Tbilisi Shopping Mall – 2/4 Shota Rustaveli Ave 3) Tbilisi Shopping Area – 16 Davit Aghmashenebeli Ave

The Regional Security Office of Embassy Tbilisi has advised all Embassy staff to avoid these locations until further notice. Please monitor the local news for updates. We will message with additional information when we have it”, reads the statement.

Georgian law enforcement agencies have not yet released any information.
