The founder of "Ramses Yachts," Giorgi Chikvaidze, who was convicted of fraudulently acquiring a large amount of money, has started a full hunger strike.
Chikvaidze's mother, Eka Tsereteli, wrote about this on Facebook:
"Political prisoner Giorgi Chikvaidze has declared a full hunger strike and complete distrust towards the penitentiary service starting today at 6:00 PM," said Eka Tsereteli.
For reference, the Tbilisi City Court sentenced Giorgi Chikvaidze, founder of "Ramses Yachts," to 9 years in prison, and his partner Irakli Papiashvili to 8 years.
The investigation was launched based on a complaint from the company "Elt Building," regarding the fraudulent appropriation of a large sum of money belonging to the company.
