The so-called president of occupied Abkhazia: Georgia's political elite cannot accept reality – Abkhazia is an independent state

The Georgian leadership must accept Abkhazia's independence, said the so-called president of occupied Abkhazia, Badra Gunba, in an interview with Russian media.­

"Georgia's political elite cannot accept reality. Abkhazia is an independent state," Gunba stated.

According to him, dialogue with Tbilisi is only possible on the condition of recognizing Abkhazia's "sovereignty" and signing an agreement on the non-use of force.
