A protest is taking place on Rustaveli Avenue.

Citizens gathered near the legislative body have blocked the roadway. On the 166th day of continuous protest, the demonstrators’ demands remain unchanged — new elections should be held, and those detained during the rallies should be released.

The protesters have brought Georgian and European Union flags to the scene.

Participants from the ongoing protest near the Public Broadcaster have also joined the demonstration with a march.
