Believe me, their being in prison, making their lives and those of their families miserable, is not something that most of society is happy about, including, you can imagine, a large part of your supporters, which they probably don’t tell you directly.

Taking this step will not be a manifestation of weakness, moreover, it is necessary to do so, especially in the context when not a single person who abused power has been punished. Such rigidity and exclusion of human compromise for our society, which you are trying to demonstrate, is neither natural nor acceptable. We cannot build a legal state so rigidly and unilaterally, this will only contribute to the accumulation of a sense of injustice and a negative mood.
