Kobuleti Mayor Levan Zoidze has resigned from his position. The information was confirmed to Interpressnews by the Government of Adjara.

According to them, Zoidze stepped down based on a personal request.

For context, Levan Zoidze was elected as Mayor of Kobuleti following the 2021 local self-government elections.

Notably, just yesterday, Batumi Mayor Archil Chikovani also resigned from his position.
