On May 18, Mikheil Kavelashvili, together with the delegation, will attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Pope Leo XIV in the Vatican, Mikheil Kavelashvili's press service reports.

The new Pope of Rome is Robert Prevost - Leo XIV. He was elected by 133 cardinals.

Kavelashvili was in the Vatican in April as well - at the funeral ceremony of Pope Francis.
