Nino Tsilosani: The EU ambassador's statement that they should actively work to sanction the Georgian government is, at the very least, unfriendly - a diplomat working in a country should at least display a friendly attitude

The EU ambassador's statement that they should actively work to sanction the Georgian government is, at the very least, unfriendly - a diplomat working in a country should at least display a friendly attitude, - said Nino Tsilosani, Vice Speaker of the Parliament.

According to her, the diplomat's incorrect, undiplomatic and, in some cases, hostile statements are a cause for concern.

"I am not surprised that socially active individuals were concerned about the actions of a number of diplomats. Even if we do not look at the past, in reality, for example, the statement of the EU ambassador regarding the need to actively work to sanction the Georgian government is at least unfriendly. A diplomat working in a country should at least demonstrate a friendly attitude. Of course, the incorrect, undiplomatic, and in some cases even hostile statements by a number of diplomats, as well as the direct position that they support and encourage radical activism and, moreover, revolutionary processes caused by these radicals, are a cause for concern," Tsilosani said.
