Archil Gorduladze: Of course the agents have to say something, right?! Since they have nothing meaningful to say, they’ve resorted to utopia – no one on the face of the Earth has ever heard of elections being held by phone!

"Of course the agents have to say something, right?! Since they have nothing meaningful to say, they’ve resorted to utopia – no one on the face of the Earth has ever heard of elections being held by phone!" – said Georgian Dream MP Archil Gorduladze to journalists.

As Gorduladze noted in this context, the opposition is talking nonsense and making a laughingstock of themselves.

"When they talk about a leaked ballot compromising vote secrecy — just imagine what could happen and what risks might exist in elections conducted by phone?! It’s absurd! These people are in a ridiculous position, they have nothing to say and are speaking complete nonsense. In general, Paata Burchuladze is prone to making such statements," said Gorduladze.

Paata Burchuladze brought up the idea of holding elections by phone during a meeting with opposition and civil society representatives. According to him, several options have emerged regarding how elections could be conducted.

"Some may laugh at the idea of holding elections by phone, but there was a good example of this in Estonia, and we plan to adopt that model. A phone won’t leak like Georgian Dream’s paper ballots," said Paata Burchuladze.
