Supporters of Mzia Amaghlobeli have gathered outside the Batumi City Court, where a hearing is underway regarding the criminal case against the founder of “Batumelebi.”

At the rally, people are chanting, “Freedom for Mzia Amaghlobeli.”

Meanwhile, the judge explained during the hearing that the noise near the court building is disrupting the proceedings. Due to this, the judge announced a recess and stated that the trial would resume after the rally ends.

As for the rally, Amaghlobeli’s supporters addressed the judge, warning that “after the current regime is changed, you will be held accountable for her imprisonment.”

“Irakli Dgebuadze didn’t suffer any injuries — that’s what the expert said. Shame on you, judge! Mzia is in prison because of your decision! We demand the release of Mzia Amaghlobeli. Judge, know this — once the regime changes, you will be held responsible for her unlawful imprisonment,” said one of the supporters.

For reference, at today’s hearing, medical expert Givi Chkhartishvili was questioned as a witness.
