MIA: Police seized a particularly large amount of drugs in Kvemo Kartli – 1 person has been arrested

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational activities and investigative actions, employees of the Rustavi City Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department arrested T.L., born in 1992, who has a prior conviction and is currently under probation, on charges of illegal acquisition, possession, and attempted sale of a particularly large quantity of narcotic substances.

According to the agency, the crime is punishable by up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

"As a result of a personal search of the suspect, as well as from locations indicated by him, law enforcement officers seized a particularly large quantity of the narcotic drug 'Alpha-PVP' intended for sale as evidence. The investigation is being conducted under Articles 260 and 19-260 of the Criminal Code," the MIA's statement said.
