According to the so-called Prosecutor's Office of occupied Donetsk, a 25-year-old Georgian citizen, Ambako Soziashvili, was sentenced to 14 years in prison "for participating in military operations against the Russian Armed Forces as a mercenary."

According to the so-called Prosecutor's Office, the Georgian fighter fought as part of the Georgian National Legion from March 2022 to February 2025.

"After exercises, he participated in military operations against the Russian Armed Forces on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, for which more than 2.8 million rubles were transferred to him," the statement said.
