The so-called Supreme Court of occupied Donetsk sentenced Ambako Soziashvili to 14 years in prison in absentia, Russian media report, citing the so-called Prosecutor's Office of occupied Donetsk.

According to the so-called Prosecutor's Office of occupied Donetsk, a 25-year-old Georgian citizen, Ambako Soziashvili, was sentenced to 14 years in prison "for participating in military operations against the Russian Armed Forces as a mercenary."

"After exercises, he participated in military operations against the Russian Armed Forces on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, for which more than 2.8 million rubles were transferred to him," the statement said.
