Giorgi Tkemaladze will be the Vice Mayor of Tbilisi. The above was announced by Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze at the meeting of the capital's government.

He wished Giorgi Tkemaladze success.

"I would like to introduce to you a person who needs no introduction, he is one of the outstanding leaders of our team. He has been involved in all the activities that are called the development and reconstruction of the city for years. I would like to introduce Giorgi Tkemaladze. He has been the chairman of the City Council for two convocations. All the projects implemented and done in the capital were, of course, implemented with the participation of the City Council and Giorgi himself. I am sure that his qualifications, his involvement, will help us and we will continue the important works and projects that we have initiated. I would like to wish him success in this important position. We have quite ambitious plans. We are planning to implement quite important projects for our city in the coming years, about which we will gradually provide information to the public. Giorgi knows very well how important self-government is," Kaladze said.

Giorgi Tkemaladze had previously held the position of Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council.
