Strategy Builder leader Giorgi Vashadze will pay a bail of 50 thousand GEL, - one of the party leaders, Paata Manjgaladze, told PalitraMews.

According to him, the decision was made at the party’s political council meeting that Vashadze will pay the said bail.

Giorgi Vashadze was granted bail of 50,000 GEL as a preventive measure on April 23 for failing to appear before the Temporary Investigative Commission. The court set a 30-day deadline for Vashadze to pay the bail.

For information, Giorgi Vashadze was summoned by the Temporary Investigative Commission established by the Parliament of Georgia on April 15, but Vashadze did not appear at the session, after which he was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office to give testimony.

Giorgi Vashadze was charged under Article 349 of the Criminal Code, which refers to "failure to comply with the request of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Parliament of Georgia", which is punishable by a fine or imprisonment for a term of up to one year, with deprivation of the right to hold a position or engage in an activity for a term of up to three years.
