Activists Albi Kordzaia and Salome Kenchiashvili were reportedly detained by Ministry of Internal Affairs officers near the Tbilisi City Court.

According to eyewitnesses, they bypassed the police cordon and were chanting slogans, after which they were allegedly detained by the police.

For context, a court hearing for Zurab Japaridze is underway at the Tbilisi City Court due to his failure to appear before the commission.

At the same time, a rally in support of Zurab Japaridze is taking place near the City Court.
