Zurab Abashidze has been appointed as the Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council. The vote was held at the City Council session today. Zurab Abashidze was supported by 26 members of the City Council.

The position of the Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council became vacant after Giorgi Tkemaladze took the post of Vice Mayor of Tbilisi.
