Denmark expresses deep concern over the disproportionate measures taken against Zurab Japaridze in Georgia

“Denmark expresses deep concern over the disproportionate measures taken against the Georgian opposition leader Zurab Japaridze, as well as over the recent legislation aimed at restricting the activities of the political opposition. In response to Georgia's democratic backsliding, Denmark supports targeted measures and joint action by the European Union,” writes the Danish Ambassador to Georgia.
