We are deeply concerned over the arrest of Zurab Japaridze, - this is stated in a statement by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on X.

"We are deeply concerned over the arrest of the leader of the Georgian opposition party 'Girchi - More Freedom,' Zurab Japaridze. Democratic backsliding, along with repressive actions directed against civil society, including groundless detentions, is a path that leads nowhere. Our solidarity is with Zurab Japaridze!" - reads the statement of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
