A delegation from the Parliament of Georgia met with the Secretary General of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly

During the NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s Spring Session, the permanent delegation of the Parliament of Georgia, led by Givi Mikanadze, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Assembly, Ruxandra Popa, and her deputy, Henrik Blidal.

This information was released by the Parliament of Georgia.

According to the report, members of Georgia’s delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, including the Chairman of the Committee on European Integration, Levan Makhashvili, and the First Deputy Chairperson of the Foreign Relations Committee, Mariam Lashkhi, also participated in the meeting.

“During the meeting, the parties discussed the active involvement of the permanent delegation of the Parliament of Georgia in the Assembly, as well as the ongoing political processes in the country.

The members of the Parliament of Georgia’s delegation provided detailed information to the Secretary General of the Assembly about the progress and challenges facing Georgia.

Special attention was paid to the opportunities for deepening the delegation’s involvement in the Assembly’s activities,” the statement reads.
