The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulates the Georgian people on Independence Day.

“We congratulate the Georgian people on Independence Day! For 180 days, you have been standing firmly for a European, democratic future. Your voice is being heard, and it inspires everyone who believes in the power of freedom and unity. Long live European Georgia!” – the ministry’s statement says.

As a reminder, May 26 is Georgia’s Independence Day. Georgia declared its independence on May 26, 1918.
