I congratulate the brave people of Georgia on Independence Day. Moldova expresses support for everyone who believes in freedom, dignity, and a European future, writes Moldova’s President Maia Sandu on the social platform X.

“Our journeys may not always be easy, but they are worth traveling together. Long live Georgia!” Sandu declares.

As a reminder, May 26 is Georgia’s Independence Day. Georgia declared its independence on May 26, 1918.
