[Independence Day] I want to congratulate all those who want this country to be free and independent and who have realized that living in the lie that "Russian Dream" imposes on the country must end, said Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of "Lelo-Strong Georgia," who is at Marjanishvili metro station, from where a march toward Rustaveli Avenue will take place in connection with Georgia’s Independence Day.

According to Mamuka Khazaradze, the idea of independence never abandons Georgia because the secret to the country’s survival lies in the fight for freedom.

“I want to congratulate all of Georgia, every one of our citizens, our diaspora, and especially our political prisoners. I wish them courage and strength. This is their day too, their contribution, effort, and dedication for today. I want to congratulate everyone who wants this country to be free and independent and who has realized that living in the lie that 'Russian Dream' imposes on the country must end.

When independence was declared in 1918, the country has since faced countless challenges, numerous battles, and much bloodshed, but the idea of independence never abandons Georgia because the secret to our survival is the fight for freedom. Freedom is not just about celebrating May 26; freedom is, above all, personal freedom, the freedom of every citizen, and a protest against ever being subjugated by anyone,” Mamuka Khazaradze stated.
