Giorgi Gakharia: We are preparing for any next elections, a change of government is possible only peacefully and through elections - any radical, revolutionary scenario in this country will only please the enemies of Georgia

We are a political party responsible before every citizen of Georgia. Based on this responsibility, we say that we are preparing for any upcoming elections, - the chairman of the Gakharia for Georgia party, Giorgi Gakharia, stated at the party congress.

As he noted, a change of government is possible only peacefully and through elections.

"Today, the country is facing the most difficult challenges. The government conducted the kind of parliamentary elections that people no longer have a sense of justice and believe that their elections were stolen. Of course, until there are not new parliamentary elections in this country and until every political prisoner who is serving an unjust sentence today is not released, the sense of justice will not return to the country. To achieve this, it is necessary to overcome radicalization and polarization. I say again, we have two poles, one of which tells us that it is only national, as if the right to nationality has been taken away from each of us and someone is explaining the value of the family to us. Believe me, these people may be very far from family values. The other pole says that they are the only Europeans. This is categorically unacceptable. Everyone who believes in Georgia today that the future of Georgia should not be in the hands of either one or the other pole, the doors of our political power are open to them. We will be the people who will explain to each citizen what a just order is, what pragmatic international policy means when you increase the number of friends and not decrease them. What it means to be so strong and fair that you can have a proper conversation with the country's enemy, based on the interests of Georgia. We should all understand that we are a political party responsible before every citizen of Georgia. Based on this responsibility, we say that we are preparing for any next elections, based on this responsibility, we take the responsibility that we do not hide anything and we tell every citizen of Georgia that yes, for us, a change of government in the country is possible only peacefully and through elections. We say that any radical, revolutionary scenario in this country will only please the enemies of Georgia... Those who believe that the current reality, which we do not like, should be changed peacefully, the doors of our political party are also open to them," Gakharia said.
