Nika Melia, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, has allegedly been detained. The information was released by the Coalition's press service.
According to the same reports, his arrest allegedly took place near the Lisi Lake when he was on his way to participate in one of the TV programs.
The press service says that they do not have any specific information at this time and are trying to get the details.

Nika Melia's trial was scheduled for today, but neither Nika Melia nor the prosecution appeared at the session. The next trial is scheduled for May 30 at 2:00 PM. Today, Melia himself announced that he does not intend to attend tomorrow's trial.
For information, Nika Melia was summoned to the session of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Parliament of Georgia for an explanation, where he did not appear, after which he was charged.
By the decision of the Tbilisi City Court, he was granted bail of 50,000 GEL as a preventive measure, which he does not intend to pay.
Nika Melia was charged under Article 349 of the Criminal Code, which refers to "failure to comply with the request of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Parliament of Georgia".
This action is punishable by a fine, or imprisonment for a term of up to one year, or deprivation of the right to hold a position or engage in an activity for a term of up to three years.
