According to the U.S. Embassy, Senator Steve Daines has arrived in Georgia and will hold meetings with Government and political party representatives

U.S. Senator Steve Daines, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is visiting Georgia.

As stated in the information released by the U.S. Embassy in Georgia, he has planned meetings with representatives of the Government and political parties.

“Welcome to Georgia, Senator Daines! Senator Daines is a member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee and looks forward to meeting with Government and political party representatives in Tbilisi. He plans to raise domestic and foreign policy issues, including the rule of law and priorities for business and foreign investment. He also intends to highlight the key priorities of President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio, including the ‘America First’ agenda philosophy and steps the Georgian government can take to demonstrate its seriousness about improving relations with the United States,” the U.S. Embassy’s statement reads.
