At the same time, Kaladze responded to the arrest of Nika Melia yesterday and noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already provided an explanation regarding this matter.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs has provided an explanation as to why Nika Melia was arrested.

We have repeatedly stated that when you are summoned to a parliamentary investigative commission and you do not go, it always leads to an appropriate response as provided by law. Everyone knows this very well, and accordingly, the state will always respond to violations of the law. As I mentioned, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has explained the reason for the arrest – it was disobedience and violation of the law,” he said.
