Tatia Afriamashvili, the second individual involved in the case of insulting “Georgian Dream” MP Mariam Lashkhi, has also been sentenced to 12 days of administrative detention.

The announcement of the decision caused an uproar in the courtroom, after which the court’s bailiff service ordered several individuals to leave the court building.

Earlier today, Lika Lortkipanidze was also sentenced to 12 days of administrative detention in the same case.

The incident occurred on May 17, when activists Tatia Afriamashvili and Magda Mamukashvili approached the MP in a café and shouted slogans such as: “Freedom to the regime’s captives” and “Down with the Russian regime.”

Mariam Lashkhi, who was with her children at the time of the incident, filed a case against the activists in court.
