We will always express our readiness in any direction, be it the European Union countries, the US, or others. We are ready to sit down, talk. We received different answers from there. Even today, the fact that this process has lasted for so long, that Trump marked his first contact with our country with this congratulatory message, was also a waiting mode. We see what is happening in the geopolitical sense, what goals Trump has set. We see the consistency, what is on his agenda. Georgia could not really be first for him, and no one demanded it, especially not from our side. We see this process. This value convergence, which we emphasized, was also reflected in the letter, it emphasizes this attitude. This letter shows that he is ready for relations and I think that this process, in my opinion, from this perspective, we can already consider that this first step has been taken,” Mikheil Kavelashvili told the Public Broadcaster.
