Lawyers are demanding an investigation into the information released by Giorgi Bachiashvili, the former head of the Co-Investment Fund.

The lawyers will submit this request to the Prosecutor General's Office today, electronically.

The case concerns Bachiashvili's statement that he was "kidnapped."

As Bachiashvili's lawyer David Jandieri told InterpressNews, they discussed the final details of the issue with Bachiashvili at Gldani Prison No. 8.

"We had a working meeting, we finally specified the content of the statement, with which we will apply to the Prosecutor's Office online today, which is related to the request to start an investigation. Along with the facts, we will have a request that certain investigative actions be carried out immediately. Among them, this will be a request to request certain types of information - radar information, dispatch records, as well as airport and on-board video camera records," Jandieri said.
