Chairman of Government of Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia resignes

Levan Mgaloblishvili, the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, has resigned. Mgaloblishvili himself wrote about this on social media.

“After consulting with the team and the Prime Minister, I have made a decision to resign.

I would like to thank all employees of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, ministries, and deputies of the Supreme Council for their support, as well as the thousands of displaced persons whom I have personally met in this short period of time, but we were able to implement small but fruitful projects.

Thank you for your support, I remain with you in defending the rights of temporarily displaced citizens living on both sides of the Enguri River,” Levan Mgaloblishvili wrote.
