We deplore the arrest of Nika Melia, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry writes on the social platform X.

The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry call on Georgian Dream to stop the “ongoing crackdown.”

“We deplore the arrest of Nika Melia, one of the leaders of the 'Coalition for Change', and demand that 'Georgian Dream' ceases the ongoing crackdown against civil society and opposition in Georgia. Our solidarity goes to the Georgian people standing for European values”, reads the statement.
