A middle-aged man was found dead in his car near the village of Ajaristskali in Khelvachauri municipality.

According to available information, the man was shot dead in his car near a river.

The incident occurred late at night.

As the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia told InterpressNews, an investigation is underway under two articles of the Criminal Code - Articles 108 and 236, which pertain to premeditated murder and illegal acquisition, storage and possession of firearms and ammunition.
