Kakha Kaladze on report passed by European Parliament: This resolution is worthless, we know very well how they are adopted, how much they pay - Europe today is based on lies, falsehood and slander

We have seen many resolutions of this type, these resolutions are worthless - we will get the Europe we aspire to, not the one we have today: based on lies, falsehood and slander, - the Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, Kakha Kaladze, said while responding to the fact that the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee approved a report on Georgia.

In the same context, he also spoke about MEP Rasa Juknevičienė , who is the rapporteur of the report, and noted that "there are quite a lot of such bureaucrats, odious types", although he is sure that everything will change.

“We have seen many resolutions of this type. We know very well how they are adopted, how much they pay. All this is wrapped up in lobbying. In reality, it is ordinary corruption. These resolutions are worthless.

There are quite a lot of such bureaucrats, odious types, but I am sure that everything will change. We will receive the kind of Europe we aspire to, and not the kind that exists today: based on lies, falsehood and slander,” Kaladze noted.

For information, the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee approved the draft report on Georgia with amendments. The document was supported by 55 MEPs, 14 voted against it, and 4 abstained.
